Sleepy Puppy

Sometimes Matty sleeps with me in my bed now. I think she loves all the big fluffy pillows and bedding -- she snuggles right in and definitely looks comfy :)

Easter

Matty and I headed to PA for Easter. Matty met up with one of her cousins with whom she is well aquainted, and LOVES, and met a new one. Matty and Stoley love to play together...Matty she just bites his face, and he puts up with it. We went on a hike up a mountain, and Matty happily followed Stoley everwhere. Matty met Buck, her golden retriever cousin, for the first time this trip. They seemed to get along well, but not the level of playing that Matty and Stoley have :)

Haley came over on Friday night and Saturday and we had a very packed, fun-filled time. Friday night before bedtime we played with Matty and Stoley, and played with Play-doh. We made all sorts of things like the bracelets shown below.
On Saturday, we got up early and went to Aunt Marie's to play with Havila, eat a ton, decorate eggs, search for hidden eggs, and have a birtday party for Haley who is turning 4 on the 10th! Haley got lots of dress up clothes for her birthday and had a fantastic time trying out all of her new digs :) Hav also joined in the fun and had a fashion show with all of her bathing suits.

The Dog Park

Matty has come to love the dog park. She runs around with all the dogs...sometimes chasing at full speed and barking like crazy when she can't keep up...until she's completely pooped. The first time we went there were three other puggles -- Matty was the smallest by over 10 lbs! Here's a couple of pics I captured after she calmed down a bit, and one of a carved log at the park.

Pinehurst

I went to Pinehurst last week to meet up with Mom to watch M and his team play golf. It was quite fun. During the excursion, I got to meet flat Stanley (who came from my cousin Havila to visit my Mom for a bit). We took flat Stanley to Pinehurst #2 where the US Open is often played, and we took our picture with the statue of Payne Stewart after he won the US Open in 1999 right before he died in a plane crash.

Matty had to stay at the kennel when I went to Pinehurst, but they gave her a nice bath and put her in a bandana for pick-up. She looked so cute:)
