More Christmas

We went to visit Dad's sisters over Christmas. Aunt Joan made us a delicious meal and we all had a good time visiting together. Aunt Joan and Uncle Rob got to meet Matty for the first time. And Haley really bonded with Matty during the trip.

Haley took Matty for a walk around the neighborhood with the crew to look at the Christmas lights. She did a great job :)

Matty made herself right at home at Aunt Joan's. She found Sock's (the cat) bed, claimed it as her own, and chilled out with the family:

Matty and Socks didn't get along too well...Maybe it's cause Socks knew Matty stole her bed. hmmm...

Most of the night the two pretty much ignored each other, but later they found each other and were intrigued. Socks, on the couch, staring at Matty on the ground, who is staring back at her. Then Matty pounced -- wanting to play, which freaked Socks out, and she took a swing at Matty, which freaked Matty out, and in an instant they were both scared of each other. Luckily neither won, and there are no battle scars. Maybe next time they will get along better...

Uncles

Matty got lots of quality time with her Uncle M and Uncle Ron over christmas -- she really enjoyed it. And the uncles couldn't get enough of her -- they loved to snuggle with my cute puppy:)

Presents :)

Matty and I got great gifts this Christmas. I got a whole new set of pots and pans, a turkey roaster, and a blender with a food processor attachment. Matty got lots of toys, some clothes, and a booster seat for the car so that she can see out the window when we go for car rides!

Christmas (Post 1)

Matty and I had such a nice Christmas. We "toured" PA, visiting many relatives and ended back at our place for Chirstmas day. There were mounds of presents, lots of delicious food, and I think Matty really enjoyed her first Christmas!
